WHAT YOU'LL NEED

1 TeaAo Masala Chai Potli
6 oz (180ml) fresh, filtered water
2 oz (60ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
Your favorite mug
Small saucepan (for traditional method)
Sweetener of choice (optional)

TRADITIONAL STOVETOP METHOD
For the most authentic masala chai experience:

Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan
Add the tea potli and reduce heat to medium-low
Simmer for 3-4 minutes to extract the full flavor of tea and spices
Add milk and bring the mixture back to a gentle simmer
Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chai develops a rich, caramel color
Add sweetener to taste if desired
Strain into your mug and enjoy

QUICK STEEP METHOD
For a convenient everyday chai:

Heat water to a full boil (212°F/100°C)
Place tea potli in your mug
Pour hot water over the potli, filling the mug 3/4 full
Steep for 4-5 minutes
Remove potli and add warm milk and sweetener if desired
